I have found that the biggest detriment to pastoring today is all of the programs needed to "entertain " the flock. Sorry, however I hate this in the churches as it takes so much time from study, and seems to replace God's Word with gimmicks. I love the Bible studies with interaction from the folks ( many questions asked by me to get them to respond). And expository preaching, as I purchased lots of your books to give me new ideas and frameworks that help energize me.
